Founded in 2021, Studio Mariposa is more than a botanical design company—

it is a living meditation on transformation.

Mariposa, the Spanish word for butterfly, felt inevitable for it’s clear symbol of transformation. Flowers reflect that same process—moving through growth, change, and eventually death. Their language has been passed on for centuries in love, grief, devotion, celebration and yet the way we speak through them continues to evolve. At its heart, Studio Mariposa exists to tell stories of these emotions and to honor the beauty of becoming. A reminder that change is both inevitable and sacred.

As a founding partner of Ceiba Valley Farm, I continue learning—one season at a time—how to grow cut flowers for market and wholesale partnerships. Doing this work with an invisible disability has taught me that tomorrow is never promised and all we can do is try to stay grounded in the present. Floriculture has changed my life and showed me firsthand the power of a seed.
